Annapolis Crab Feast

Now in its 69th year, the Annapolis Crab Feast is all-you-can-eat and drink, including large and #1 male crabs (the big ones) plus Maryland vegetable crab soup, sweet Maryland corn on the cob, beef barbeque sandwiches, all-American hot dogs, draft beer, assorted sodas and water.  This special event is not only the world’s largest crab feast but also a major fund-raiser which benefits local community and cultural organizations.

Maryland Seafood Festival

Now in its 47th year, the Maryland Seafood Festival features Maryland’s top chefs and restaurateurs showcasing the state’s seafood. Event highlights include the Capital Crab Soup Cook-off, live music, craft booths and family activities. New for 2014, the EVP Beach Volleyball Tour will hold their Eastern competition at the festival and is expanding to ten courts of competition on the festival beaches and grounds while the Maryland Watermen Association will be racing Chesapeake Crab Skiffs on the Bay.

In the Street Festival

For over 25 years the In The Street festival has been held in downtown Frederick. The all day festival brings food, fun and entertainment for the whole family. Today, In The Street attracts crowds of over 70,000 people, all celebrating the historic district and the best of what Frederick has to offer.

Maryland Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival is the second largest Renaissance Festival in the country with more than 1,300 participants and 280,000 guests per season. The festival's 25 acre English village offers 140 craft and specialty shops, 42 food and beverage emporiums, games, attractions, displays, 11 stages of ever changing entertainment with shows repeated throughout the day, and a 3,000 seat jousting arena.

Sundaes in the Park

Bring a picnic basket and beach chairs to Ocean City, Maryland for a family-friendly evening of ice cream sundaes and live music from rock to Caribbean and classical to jazz. The event is part of the weekly concert series at Northside Park on the Chesapeake Bay, and a fireworks display caps the night.
